It's such a joy to dance and teach on my home soil.
Bella's show on Friday was amazing as per usual.
She created an electric atmosphere that brought the audience into the show and gave a sense that everyone was apart of the magic.
Thanks to Joe and the crew of BLOCK T for having myself and Aoife Hardiman dancing on Saturdays.
Another excellent night of dancing and fun!
It was of course a pleasure to teach in Dublin and the Belfast ladies are as lovely as always!

was delighted to be asked to be in Shahrazad's wonderful show
where i got to meet some amazing dancers and lovely people!
Taking classes from Samantha Hasthorpe in Belfast was a pleasure
as always, plus incredibly informative and helpful. The show in the
Black Box afterwards was good craic.
The Ladies of Flow studios are so welcoming and warm.
It was the brilliant to be around that kind of atmosphere
and so, i was overjoyed to be asked to teach in Belfast.
Great students and a lovely environment is always so encouraging to
work in and I'm looking forward to all my north adventures!

Traveling to the nether lands to take workshops with Lady Fred
and dancing at the Flash Dance was amazing. The Uzume are just cool
and super nice and it was so nice to be there and meet so many good
dancers .
I was delighted to apart of Graziela of Hip Circle belly dance’s show
The Purple Cabaret featuring Oliva Kissel. There is nothing like doing
a solo to a live band it always excites and enlivens me!
A week later I found myself in Valencia. I got to take a workshop with
Sharon Kihara ... she is super deadly and also amazing to watch dance.
I cant tell you how nice it is to take workshops from such accomplished
dancers. In Ireland we are few, and as a teacher it is absolutely necessary
to travel abroad . It is expensive but i appreciate it so much and the
information passed on from teachers like Sharon is priceless!
In January I spent a night in Belfast, at the Flow Yoga Studios was also
a highlight. After my usual by weekly class, the was a small show where
my Belfast students danced (some of them for the first time).
It was amazing they
where amazing. Afterwards we kicked back and enjoyed Katie and
The Carnival.... a super cool band from Belfast.
There have been new students and old students coming together
to make the Irish belly dance scene in Ireland a little bigger, better
and stronger.
This year I formed the group Triptych belly dance troupe.
For many of the ladies it was their first belly dance performance
and it was both well received and deadly fun. We have gone on to
perform at Irish festival's including knockenstocked and Gateway.
I'm so honoured to work with these ladies. They are a funny group of
beautiful crazy ladies. Thanks for making this year so incredible for me
ladies.. you guys are just bloody brilliant.
Yay... roll on my new Spanish adventure! Roll on 2011!
